Bill Wilby will become senior investment officer of OppenheimerFunds Inc., New York - a position vacant since Kurt Wolfgruber was elevated to chief investment officer in April 2000. Mr. Wilby was senior vice president, director of international equities and portfolio manager of the Oppenheimer Global Fund. Rajeev Bhaman will become co-manager of the fund; George Evans, portfolio manager of the Oppenheimer International Growth Fund, will take on Mr. Wilby's old title of director of international equities. In addition, Randy Dishmon, a senior analyst, will take on further responsibilities as assistant portfolio manager of the Oppenheimer Global Opportunities Fund.
Also, Mark Madden will become co-manager of the Oppenheimer Developing Markets Fund and Justin Leverenz will be a senior analyst, both new positions. Mr. Madden previously managed the Emerging Markets Fund at Pioneer Investment Management Inc., Boston; other staff will assume his duties. Mr. Leverenz was director of pan-Asian technology research for Goldman Sachs & Co., Taipei. Information on a replacement wasn't available.
