AMR Corp., Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, contributed $461 million to its $12.9 billion American Airlines pension plan in the second quarter, according to the company's earnings report, released today. Further details were not available. Separately, Honeywell International Inc., Morristown, N.J., contributed $5 million to its $17.5 billion pension plan in the second quarter and expects its pension expense to reach $420 million this year, up from $325 million in 2003, according to David J. Anderson, CFO.
