Michael Pecoraro was appointed chief investment officer for global fixed income and C.S. Venkatakrishnan was named head of fixed income for New York and London at J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management. The two replaced Patricia L. Cook, who left to become executive vice president of investments at the Federal Loan Home Mortgage Corp., McLean, Va., where she will oversee management of the $630 billion retained mortgage portfolio and debt issuance as well as asset-liability risk management strategies.
Mr. Pecoraro, responsible for day-to-day investment management of fixed-income portfolios, will continue as head of portfolio management of liquid assets; Mr. Venkatakrishnan, who will chair the macro process and be responsible for the development of Morgan Fleming's investment strategies, will continue managing quantitative research.
