Southwest Gas Corp., Las Vegas, launched a shortlist search for a new small-cap value equity mutual fund option, for its $190 million 401(k) plan, said Ken Kenny, treasurer. A selection is expected in the third quarter, Mr. Kenny said. The new option will replace the Fidelity Low-Priced Stock fund, which will be closed to new investors, he said.
The plan has 13 investment options. Fidelity is bundled provider; Callan Associates is assisting. Southwest Gas also has a $300 million pension plan.
