Baton Rouge (La.) and East Baton Rouge Parish Retirement System named Oberweis Asset Management, Roxbury Capital Management, Turner Investment Partners and Wall Street Associates as semifinalists in a shortlist search for a manager to handle $25 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, said Jeffrey Yates, retirement administrator. All but Wall Street Associates have been interviewed; officials at the $840 million pension plan will interview Wall Street on July 29; Mr. Yates said the field could be narrowed to two candidates that day. Wall Street already runs $50 million in active domestic midcap growth equities, he noted; funding for the small-cap growth allocation would come from that portfolio. Summit Strategies is assisting.
