Benchmark Financial Services formed the Center for Investment Management Investigations, a resource for aggrieved investors and a network for firms that possess expertise in matters relating to investigating money managers, securities brokers, consultants and actuaries, announced Edward A.H. Siedle, president. CIMI hopes to attract institutional and retail investors seeking assistance in identifying and investigating abuses and also attract experts who can contribute to a particular area of an investigation. CIMI will make its network of expertise available to firms conducting their own investigations whether or not Benchmark Financial is involved, he said.
CIMI will provide services for both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
