PlusFunds Group attracted $2.5 billion to its investible S&P Hedge Fund index strategies since operations began in August 2002, said Gabriel Bousbib, president and chief executive officer. PlusFunds offers fewer than 20 vehicles that track the eight S&P hedge fund indexes and 11 single-strategy baskets that between them use 69 hedge fund managers. About 10% of assets are managed for institutional investors, said Mr. Bousbib.
