The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for a deputy executive director, a new position, said Rich Baker, senior media relations officer at the $58.7 billion system. The deputy will manage day-to-day operations, allowing Executive Director Laurie Hacking to be "more proactive with key constituent groups like legislators, members and retirees in general," Mr. Baker said. He said fund officials hope to have the position filled by the fourth quarter. Hudepohl and Associates, Worthington, Ohio, is assisting.
