Hanford Site, Richland, Wash., hired Vanguard as bundled provider of its $800 million 401(k) plan, said Mike Hradec, director of benefits accounting. Vanguard replaced Putnam Investments, Mr. Hradec said. Plan officials began a search last July because they hadn't investigated the provider market in several years and wanted to make sure they were getting the best value for participants' money, he said. Putnam and Fidelity were the other finalists. The plan now offers 20 investment options, up from 13. Wurts & Associates assisted.
