Belmont (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System hired Julius Baer to run $5 million in an active commingled international equity fund, said Marion Cote, retirement administrator. The $50 million plan terminated Putnam from a similar mandate in November, following personnel turnover, Ms. Cote said. The money was parked in a State Street Global Advisors MSCI EAFE index fund, which will be closed, she said. New England Pension Consultants assisted.
