Chicago Public School Teachers' Pension & Retirement Fund will add $75 million each to active domestic equity portfolios run by New Amsterdam Partners and Holland Capital Management, both minority-owned firms, said Patricia Townsend Knazze, fund president. New Amsterdam will run a total of $218 million in core; Holland will handle $120 million in growth.
At their May 20 meeting, trustees at the $10.2 billion plan will consider reducing the portfolios of other active domestic and index equity managers to fund the new allocations.
