Kai Sotorp will become head of UBS Global Asset Management, Americas, effective April 19. He replaces Brian M. Storms, who chose to leave rather than move from New York to Chicago, where the job is being relocated, said John Fraser, chairman and CEO of UBS Global Asset Management.
Mr. Sotorp is head of UBS Global Asset Management, Asia Pacific, and is based in Tokyo. That job is being relocated to Hong Kong, Mr. Fraser said, and Zurich-based Christof Kutscher will replace Mr. Sotorp there. Mr. Kutscher is head of UBS Global Asset Management's institutional and wholesale businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
