Little Rock (Ark.) City Relief Pension Funds will issue an RFP by the end of next week for an investment consultant for its $65 million police plan, said Bob Biles, finance director. Trustees last conducted a consultant search 10 years ago, and "it's time to go through the process," Mr. Biles said. Incumbent Gerber/Taylor can rebid. The RFP will be available through the city's purchasing and finance departments; the final timeframe for the search has not been set, but proposals will likely be due in mid-May, with a selection expected in June or July. The new firm will not immediately begin any searches or studies, he said.
