Delaware State Deferred Compensation Program, Dover, will add three equity mutual funds on April 20, said Susan McNamara, financial programs manager. The new funds will replace the Babson Growth, Franklin Mutual Shares and Janus Worldwide funds, although those funds will be available through the $205 million 457 plan's mutual fund window, Ms. McNamara said. The Janus fund will be dropped because of performance, she said. The Babson and Franklin funds will be dropped to reduce overlap and diversify the plan's core lineup of 29 investment options, she said. Bundled provider Fidelity is assisting with the shortlist search.
Shelley Peterson, Janus spokeswoman, did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
