Jay A. Yoder and Mark E. Bradley co-founded a new asset management firm, Tuckerbrook Alternative Investments LLC, Boston. Mr. Yoder is the chief investment officer, and Mr. Bradley is the chief financial/chief operations officer. The firm focuses on institutional investors, providing alternative investments such as hedge fund of funds.
Mr. Yoder was director of investments for the nearly $1 billion endowment of Smith College, Northampton, Mass. He left in January; Smith's investment department is closing because management of the college's assets was outsourced. Mr. Bradley was senior vice president and treasurer of CDC IXIS Asset Management, Boston. Wendy Schoenfeld, a spokeswoman, was not available to comment on Mr. Bradley's replacement.
