University of Oklahoma Foundation, Norman, hired Julius Baer to run $16 million in a commingled international equity fund, said Ron Winkler, vice president and treasurer. Julius Baer replaced Putnam, which was terminated because of "the things that were going on" at the firm, Mr. Winkler said. Putnam ran a similar portfolio for the $450 million endowment, he said. J.H. Ellwood assisted. "We're disappointed about their decision but hope to have the opportunity to manage investments for them again in the future," said Laura McNamara, Putnam spokeswoman.
