Oklahoma Firefighters' Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, named ING, J.P. Morgan and RREEF as finalists in its search for a manager to run a $40 million core real estate portfolio, the first for the $1.4 billion system, said Herb Bradshaw, assistant director. Trustees might make their selection in May, after making site visits to each firm, Mr. Bradshaw said. The funding source has not been determined.
Separately, the system will issue a new RFP for a value-added real estate manager to run $25 million, Mr. Bradshaw said. Trustees decided to launch the new search because the original RFP did not yield enough responses from managers in the style, he said. A funding source for the portfolio also has not been determined, he said.
