The $10.1 billion Indiana Public Employees' Retirement Fund, Indianapolis, will delay a decision on hiring a chief investment officer up to two weeks, said Patrick Lane, communications director. A decision originally was expected today. Mr. Lane declined to say how many finalists there are, saying only, "there are less than five."
"The committee is still going through due diligence, checking references, more interviews. I anticipate a decision being finalized in one or two weeks," Mr. Lane said. The fund is seeking a replacement for Patricia J. Gerrick, who left last fall.
