New Britain (Conn.) Police & Fire Benefit Reserve Fund is considering terminating Rittenhouse Asset Management, which runs $5.5 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities for the $110 million plan, said Rich Pokorski, pension fund manager. Rittenhouse has been on watch for performance for about three quarters, Mr. Pokorski said.
Trustees will meet by early April to discuss possibly replacing the firm, he said. UBS Financial is assisting. Laurel O'Brien, spokeswoman for Rittenhouse, did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
