Aon Corp., Chicago, expects to contribute $167 million to its U.K. pension plans and $28 million to its U.S. plans this year, according to its 10-K report, filed today with the SEC. The company also expects to make 2005 pension contributions of $236 million to its U.S. plans and $185 million to its U.K. plans, the report said. The U.S. plans had combined assets of $76 million and combined liabilities of $1.3 billion in 2003, according to the filing; the international plans had $2.2 billion in total assets and $3.3 billion in total liabilities in 2003. The U.S. and U.K. plans are closed to new participants, and Aon sponsors defined contribution plans for both groups.
