The New Britain (Conn.) Police and Fire Pension Fund will review the $50 million plan's contract with active domestic equity manager Columbia Management, following market-timing accusations against the firm, said Rich Pokorski, pension fund manager. Columbia runs $15 million in large-cap, $9 million in midcap and $5 million in small-cap equity portfolios for the plan, he said. Trustees will discuss the portfolios by early April. Further action has not been determined. UBS Financial is assisting. Alexis Richel, spokeswoman for Columbia, could not comment by press time.
