DuPont to put $300 million into non-U.S. pension funds

E.I. DU PONT de Nemours & Co. Inc., Wilmington, Del., expects to contribute $300 million to its non-U.S. pension plans in 2004 but has no plans to contribute to its $13.6 billion U.S. pension plan this year, according to a 10-K report filed today with the SEC. DuPont contributed $460 million to its non-U.S. pension plans in 2003. The total assets of its non-U.S. plans could not be learned by press time.
