Ferrellgas Partners LP, Liberty, Mo., added five investment options for its $110 million 401(k) plan, said Nina Dougherty, retirement plans manager. The funds are: American Century Inflation-Protected Bond; American Funds Growth Fund of America; Ameristock Mutual; First American Small-Cap Growth Opportunities; and Oakmark Equity and Income. Plan officials dropped the Lord Abbett Developing Growth, J.P. Morgan Diversified and Putnam Investors funds, all for performance, Ms. Dougherty said.
The plan now offers 11 investment options, including a self-directed brokerage window. J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services is bundled provider.
"We remain focused on our greatest responsibility: delivering consistent, dependable, superior investment performance over time," said Laura McNamara, Putnam spokeswoman. Jason Farago, spokesman for Lord Abbett, and Gabrielle Gagliardo, spokeswoman for J.P. Morgan, declined comment.
