The Ohio State Teachers Retirement System, Columbus, and its co-investors sold the One Lincoln Street office tower in Boston for $705.4 million to American Financial Realty Trust. The sale netted the fund's largest profit for a single real estate deal, $191 million, according to a news release from the fund. The $53 billion system acquired the property in 2000, with real estate investment firm Gale Co., Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds and Columbia Plaza Associates. Approximately $4.8 billion of the system's portfolio is in real estate, with 83% managed internally.
