Austin (Texas) Police Retirement System will begin its annual review of the $300 million pension plan's 20 managers on Feb. 16, said Sampson Jordan, pension administrator. Investment consultant Monroe Vos Consulting Group will review the firms' 2003 performance and ask each manager for their expectations this year, Mr. Jordan said. "Everyone seems to be keeping with their peer group," he said, and changes are unlikely. The reviews will be completed at the system's March 24 board meeting.
The plan's asset allocation is 40% equity, 40% fixed income and 20% real estate.
