Snowbarger likely to be named acting head of PBGC

Vincent Snowbarger is expected to be named acting executive director of the PBGC. Mr. Snowbarger, assistant executive director for legislative affairs, would replace Steven A. Kandarian, who announced his resignation earlier this week. Mr. Kandarian, who will leave in mid-February, said he wants to spend more time with his family.
