NCH Corp., Irving, Texas, will drop the Putnam International Equity and Janus Balanced, Olympus and Overseas funds as investment options in its $115 million 401(k)/profit-sharing fund, effective Feb. 2, said Michael Gronert, retirement plans administrator. Officials decided to drop the funds following the market-timing investigations into Putnam Investments and Janus Capital, he said, as well as management changes at Janus. The plan will add the PIMCO Total Return, Goldman Sachs Core Small-Cap Equity, American Funds Balanced and Fidelity Advisor Diversified International funds, as well as five Barclays Global Investors lifestyle funds, Mr. Gronert said. The plan will offer 14 funds.
Putnam spokeswoman Laura McNamara did not comment by press time; Janus Capital spokesman Paul Lederhos did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
