Gil Knight joined Gartmore Global Investments, Conshohocken, Pa., as vice president and senior portfolio manager. Mr. Knight will manage the company's U.K.-distributed product, the Gartmore Govett FSIL U.S. Opportunities Fund, and its equivalent U.K. offshore product, the Gartmore Govett GSIL U.S. Growth Fund. Mr. Knight oversaw those funds as a senior portfolio manager with MTB Investment Advisors, Baltimore, which was a Gartmore subadviser. Michael Mattingly, senior portfolio manager at MTB Investment, said Mr. Knight's duties as co-manager of the MTB Small-Cap Growth Fund will be assumed by co-manager James Thorne.
