Illinois State Employees' Deferred Compensation Plan, Springfield, later this month will select an investment consultant to review the $2 billion 457 plan, said Pam Davies, spokeswoman. Plan officials hire outside consultants on an interim basis every three to four years to review performance of the 12 investment options and identify any gaps or redundancies among the funds offered, Ms. Davies said. Six firms responded to an RFP, issued in October; Ms. Davies would not name the respondents. Trustees hope to select a firm by Jan. 1, with the review expected to take 120 days.
T. Rowe Price is the record keeper.
