Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, Hartford, renegotiated its fee structure with Putnam Investments, state Treasurer Denise Nappier said in a news release. Putnam also has agreed to link all fees paid by the $19 billion pension fund directly to the firm's performance through next March. Putnam, which manages $291 million in international equities for Connecticut, remains on watch and will continue to receive a high level of scrutiny because of organizational, personnel turnover and performance concerns, Ms. Nappier said in her statement.
