New York State Teachers' Retirement System, Albany, and New York City Teachers' Retirement System are reviewing their allocations to INVESCO units following lawsuits against INVESCO Funds Group.
The $74 billion state teachers fund has heightened its monitoring of its $34 million investment with INVESCO Realty Advisors, said Dave Daly, NYSTRS spokesman. The $23 billion city teachers system is reviewing its $55 million INVESCO domestic equity portfolio, said Nicole Lise, city fund spokeswoman. Neither fund has set timetables for taking further action.
INVESCO spokesman Bill Hensel declined to comment.
