Heitman Value Partners LP, a real estate fund, closed with $140 million in equity. Investors in the fund include the California State Teachers' Retirement System, the Public Employees' Retirement Association of Colorado and TIAA-CREF.
The fund is investing in joint ventures in residential, office, industrial and retail properties.
