E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. Inc., Wilmington, Del., is searching for a CEO/president for DuPont Capital Management Corp., the company's investment management subsidiary. The successful candidate also will be a vice president of the parent, in charge of the company's $22.8 billion in pension assets. Edward J. Bassett, DuPont Capital's previous CEO and president, retired Sept. 30. John Jessup, vice president-finance and treasurer of DuPont Capital, is interim president and CEO while a replacement is being sought, said Joe Haley, managing director of marketing and client services at DuPont Capital.
