Formed at the beginning of the bear market, Sanderson Asset Management invests in international equities using a value-driven, bottom-up investment strategy. The firm has one of the strongest track records over the period in its asset class, according to a consultant, who asked not to be identified.
The firm is owned by its partners as well as Silchester International Investors Ltd., London.
"We've achieved this performance despite the bear market, and one of the reasons is our robust bottom-up process that leads us to buying quality shares," Richard Cawdron said.
Its top stock picks include Boots & Co. Ltd., the British drugstore chain; Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd.; and United Overseas Bank Ltd., the Singapore retail bank.
