Columbia Management Group will rebrand the Liberty Financial business units and fund family it acquired in 2001. Liberty Funds Distributor will become Columbia Funds Distributor; Liberty Funds Services was renamed Columbia Funds Services; and Liberty Wanger Asset Management is now Columbia Wanger Asset Management. Columbia said the rebranding will have no impact on how the funds are managed. Columbia Management is the asset management arm of FleetBoston Financial Corp.
