Service Corp. International, Houston, plans to conduct a shortlist search next spring for a bundled provider for its $100 million 401(k) plan, said Nita Ashley, senior benefits administrator. Current bundled provider MassMutual can rebid; plan officials feel it's their fiduciary duty to consider alternative firms every three to four years, Ms. Ashley said. An RFP will likely be sent out in April or May to about 20 firms, and the process is expected to take three to four months, she said. The plan offers nine investment options. Plan officials have also not decided if consultant Watson Wyatt Worldwide will assist in the search.
