Indiana State Teachers' Retirement Fund, Indianapolis, will begin an asset allocation study after actuary Gabriel Roeder Smith completes its own study in November or December, said Robert D. Newland, CIO. The $3.5 billion fund's entire allocation is up for reconsideration, Mr. Newland said. The asset allocation study could be completed by the end of the first quarter, he said. The fund's allocation is 50% domestic equities, 35% bonds, 14% international equities and 1% private equities.
