Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for a trading manager and two quantitative analysts for its $52 billion fund. Hudepohl & Associates, Worthington, Ohio, has been retained to recruit for the positions.
The trading manager would develop trading strategies, form policies and processes to provide for effective trading controls, assess trading effectiveness and evaluate trading counterparties. Among other duties, the trading manager supervises two to four employees.

The other would work on risk management and financial analysis.
Qualifications include an in-depth understanding of, and experience with, finance and accounting theory and research, as well as several years of investment experience. An advanced academic degree in finance, accounting or economics is strongly preferred. Salary range for both is $74,900 to $104,894.
One of the analyst positions is new. The other is a replacement for a staffer who left to pursue an advanced degree; Ohio PERS officials wouldn't identify the employee.
