Lois Roman joined Oppenheimer Capital, New York, as a large-cap value equity portfolio manager. It is a new position, although Ms. Roman will pick up some of the duties of large-cap portfolio manager Richard J. Glasebrook III, who left in April to head up the private asset unit at Neuberger Berman Inc., New York. Oppenheimers search pre-dated Mr. Glasebrooks departure because the company wanted to expand capabilities in the asset class, said Jeff Sheran, marketing director. Ms. Roman was head of U.S. large-cap value equities at Deutsche Asset Management in the Americas, New York, where her duties were assumed by Colin Glinsbrook, the global CIO.
