Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association, Greenwood Village, issued an RFP for two to four firms to provide transition management services, said William Morris, CIO. Proposals are due June 23. Details are available on the plans website, at www.fppaco.org. Previously, plan officials used transition management services on an ad hoc basis, he said.
Separately, the $2.1 billion plan hired U.S. Bancorp Asset Management to run $30 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, pending contract negotiations, he said. The funding source has not been determined, but Mr. Morris said no managers will be terminated.
