Brockton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System on June 24 will interview four finalists in its search for a manager to run $5 million in active emerging markets equities, and a selection may be made that day, said Harold P. Hanna, executive director. The finalists are: Boston Co. Asset Management; OFI Institutional; Grantham Mayo van Otterloo; and State Street Global Advisors. Funding will come from the first installment of the citys annual appropriation.
The $165 million pension plans asset allocation is 36% domestic equity, 36% domestic fixed income, 9% international fixed income, 8% international equity, 6% real estate and 5% venture capital. Wainwright Investment Counsel is advising.
