Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board, Boise, hired Marvin & Palmer to manage $45 million in active international growth equities for its $430 million public school endowment and $210 million pooled endowment, said Matthew J. Haertzen, manager of investments. Funding came from reducing an active domestic large-cap value equity portfolio managed by Metropolitan West Capital to $40 million, he said. Officials made the change for diversification, he said.
Separately, the board rehired RBC Dain Rauscher as consultant, said Mr. Haertzen.
The plans asset allocation is 70% equity and 30% fixed income.
