Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Employees Pension Plan hired New England Pension Consultants as the $115 million plans investment consultant, said Karl Tyminski, secretary/treasurer. State law requires investment and consulting contracts to be rebid every five years. Mr. Tyminski said the board was satisfied with previous consultant Yanni Partners but is seeking a "new look. New England will conduct asset allocation and asset-liability studies this year; plan officials are looking to add new asset classes, possibly including hedge funds and options overlay programs, he said.
