Denver Public Schools Retirement System hired Axiom International to manage $50 million in active international large-cap growth equities, pending contract negotiations, said David A. Stella, executive director. Funding came from terminating T. Rowe Price, which ran $50 million in a similar style, for performance, Mr. Stella said. Brian Lewbart, spokesman for T. Rowe Price, did not return a call seeking comment by press time.
The $2.2 billion pension plans target asset allocation is 64% equity and 36% fixed income. Hewitt Investment advised.
