Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board, Boise, selected Oechsle and Marvin & Palmer as finalists in its search for a manager to run $40 million in active international growth equities, said Matthew J. Haertzen, manager of investments. Partial funding will come from reducing a $50 million active international value equity portfolio managed by Lazard Freres by $5 million or $6 million, and the remainder will come from rebalancing; Mr. Haertzen declined to identify the managers. A selection is expected by May 21, he said.
Separately, Callan, Wilshire, Angeles Investment and incumbent RBC Dain Rauscher were named finalists in the funds search for a consultant, Mr. Haertzen said. The board will make a selection at its May 21 meeting.
The board oversees a $400 million public school endowment and $200 million pooled endowment.
