PepsiCo Inc. shareholders voted 92.5% against a proposal that would ask the company to report how it plans to deal with the business and employee impact of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in Africa. The resolution was filed by Mennonite Mutual Aid, Goshen, Ind., which has $1.2 billion in pension and other assets, as well as other religious institutional funds.
On other shareholder proposals, the vote was 97.3% against a six-year term limit for directors and 92% against a report to shareholders "evaluating the business risks linked to water uses.
