TKP Pensioen, Groningen, Netherlands, hired J.P. Morgan Investor Services as global custodian for 2.1 billion euros ($2.2 billion) in pension assets. Incumbent Citibank Global Securities Services remained global custodian for another 2.1 billion euros in assets, said Jan Willem Baan, TKP director of investments. The balance of the plans 6 billion euros is invested in communal funds and have their own custody arrangements, he said. Mr. Baan would not say why Citibanks mandate had been reduced. TKP manages the assets for the pension plans of Hollands postal and telecommunications services.
