CFOs salaries rose 3.9% in their companies most recent fiscal year, with bonuses up 8.4%, based on an analysis of median compensation numbers by The Todd Organization. Todd obtained the figures by examining the proxy statements of 160 public companies that had annual revenues of more than $250 million and fiscal years ending before Dec. 31.
Despite the raises, the total pool of CFO cash compensation is declining. Based on the mean, CFOs salaries rose 0.6%, while bonuses dropped 4%. The median annual salary was $269,135, and bonus, $115,313. The mean salary was $284,928, and bonus, $179,146.
The figures are for cash compensation and dont reflect stock options.
