Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Columbus, narrowed its search for a chief investment officer to three finalists, according to Rob Glenn, spokesman. The CIO oversees the $14 billion fund. The candidates are being interviewed by James Conrad, chief executive officer, and William Sotko, chairman of the oversight commission. The bureau expects to make a decision in about two weeks. No recruiting firm was used.
Former CIO Robert G. Cowman left early this year to become director of investments at the $6.5 billion School Employees Retirement System of Ohio, Columbus.
