Memphis (Tenn.) City Retirement System will conduct annual manager performance reviews at its April 24-25 board meeting, said Joseph Lee III, finance director. Its too early to predict if there will be any changes, he said.
The $1.6 billion pension plans domestic equity managers are: Alliance Capital; Barrow, Hanley; Paradigm Asset; NewSouth Capital; RhumbLine; and Ariel Capital. Its international equity managers are Martin Currie, Tattersall International and T. Rowe Price International; fixed income, Aegon Institutional, Highland Capital, Commerce Capital, Tattersall Advisory and MacKay-Shields; and real estate, Fidelity, MetLife and RREEF.
The plans asset allocation is 40% domestic equity, 40% fixed income, 15% international equity and 5% real estate. Wilshire Associates is advising.
